The Cisco Live Conference in Orlando, Florida is this year's premiere event for IT and communications professionals. In cooperation with our client Telekom Austria, BearingPoint INFONOVA had the opportunity to present a joint success story related to one of the latest industry trends - MPLS provisioning. As Telekom Austria started to offer VPN services based on xDSL technology in 2003, the number of customers and especially customer sites started to increase dramatically. So Telekom Austria needed a solution to fully automate the Fulfillment process offering Zero Tough Deployment and to automate the Operational Management with the objective to minimize Order-to-Cash time. As Telekom Austria uses Infonova BSS as integration platform it was no big challenge for BearingPoint to integrate the Infonova MPLS integration framework to archive that ambitious goal.
Since implementation of the Infonova solution Telekom Austria could decrease the order-to-cash time for all our IP based VPN solutions by 80%. Additionally activation growth rate could be increased up to 800 % with a peak of more than 200 activations alone for the Business Net product – a factor that helped ROI to visibly accelerate.
